After her first exhibition at the Guild, Monica is back with 12 new works. This exhibition has been inspired by a much-loved book called Forms in Nature by Ernst Haeckel, and the rediscovery of the glass works by Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka who created amazing models of sea creatures and plants. Still influenced by crewelwork and blackwork, and still passionate about recycling textile 'waste', this theme seemed very relevant.
