The Art Workers’ Guild
Membership is open to architects and anyone working in the decorative and visual arts. Applicants must be proposed and seconded by existing members and election occurs four times a year at committee meetings. You will need to have attended at least one Guild meeting as a guest of a current member before applying.
There are two types of membership open to application:
Ordinary membership – practitioners in the applied arts
Associate membership (limited to 20% of the total) – those who are not practitioners but who actively encourage the crafts.
£170 p.a. – London-based members
£113 p.a. – members outside London
Membership is free after the age of 80.
