Shawn Kholucy

Shawn Kholucy is an award-winning sole practitioner architect, historic building consultant, painter, NADFAS lecturer and writer.

He is passionate about the layered beauty of old and modern buildings and the stories they tell, and believes that repairs can be beautiful too. He is known for the careful conservation of medieval and later buildings.  

He has been published in The Repair of Old Buildings; A View of the Cotswolds; Mamluk Jerusalem and many architectural conservation journal and magazine articles.

Shawn’s clients include private owners of listed and non-listed buildings; The Churches Conservation Trust; Landmark Trust; English Heritage; SPAB; Diocese of Ipswich & St. Edmundsbury; PCCs; Architectural Association and Art Pursuits Ltd.
