Michael Petry is an artist, author and director of MOCA London. He co-founded the Museum of Installation, was curator of the Royal Academy Schools Gallery and the first artist in residence at Sir John Soane’s Museum. Michael appeared in ’Frontiers Reimagined’ at the Venice Biennale in 2015 and had a solo show at Pallant House Museum in 2016. His books include Installation Art, The Art of Not Making: The New Artist Artisan Relationship and Nature Morte: Contemporary Artists Reinvigorate the Still-Life Tradition; the basis of his touring exhibition, with a final stop at London’s Guildhall (2017).
