Jane Dorner

Jane Dorner is a ‘mid-career-change artist’, coming to glass from a long career in publishing. She is particularly interested in the painterly qualities of pâte de verre, from the intricacies of jewellery to large-scale architectural projects.

Jane’s design motivation originates in the unseen fragility of the construction of the human body contrasting with an outer robustness, which finds a parallel in the qualities of glass.
