Discussion is an important ingredient in all our outreach activities. Whether we are fostering dialogue between peers, or across discipline, age or experience, everyone’s contribution is valued and curiosity is very much encouraged.

Thinking With Your Hands is a continuing collaboration with Imperial College London. Wide-ranging discussions between craftspeople, design engineers, toxicologists, computational biologists and teachers highlight the value of craftsmanship in science, technology and education as well as the arts. We work hard to ensure that those with an influence on policy or practice (such as politicians and Heads of UK art institutions) are included in the conversation too.
