Neil Stevenson

Neil Stevenson established NEJ Stevenson in 1984 and has managed its sustained growth to become a highly regarded bespoke design and furniture maker. Prior to starting the company, Neil trained at Ryecotewood College, Thame, before working for a number of cabinet making companies; one of which seconded him to a company in Indonesia to advise on design and construction of traditional European furniture.

He is a Royal Warrant holder to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Trustee of the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust, and a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers. Formerly, Neil was Industry Director for the British Institute of Interior Design, chaired the National Training Board for Furniture and sat on the Board of Proskills, the Sector Skills Council for Process and Manufacturing.
