Joe Berger

When Joe Berger began freelance illustrating in the mid 1990s, he worked in freehand on a Mac almost exclusively; creating clean vector lines and flat fills, with rarely a hand-drawn line to be found. Nowadays, everything Joe does starts with drawing, and he uses the computer mostly to facilitate - adding colour to hand-drawn lines and scanned-in textures. He almost never uses colour on paper, and almost never draws on the computer.
