Introduction

I have been an artist all my life, life and art being completely inseparable.  I see it as part of an artist’s work to be very much part of the community and in my own case to give enjoyment.  I am more than happy to be part of the entertainment business, so were Shakespeare and Mozart.  I am probably best known for my arch topped hand coloured limited edition etchings, the first of which, ‘Dance by the Light of the Moon’, appeared in 1973 Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy.  Some five hundred images later in a very broad range of plate sizes every part of the process is still performed entirely by hand and all my techniques are probably two hundred years out of date.
