Introduction
I have always made both furniture and joinery and I enjoy working on both the large and the small scale.
Much of my work has invloved careful reconstructions of missing historic joinery and furniture but I also design and make contemporary work.
My work is always in wood and I enjoy using interesting combinations of timber to produce items which not only fulfil their functions but also look exciting.
I enjoy using lines and simples mouldings to emphasise shape and pattern in the things I make.
I am more concerned with style, richness, deftness, and beauty than drama, impact and novelty.
