How to apply 

Please complete this form and email it, together with a PDF showing samples of your owkr (no more than 10 pages) and a short statement of support to the Guild Secretary, Catherine O’Keeffe.

Submission deadline is midnight on Sunday 18 June.

 

Statement of support

This should be a short testimonial or reference from a tutor, someone you’ve trained or been apprenticed with, a Guild member, a professional in your field, or someone who has commissioned your work or collaborated with you.

If you want or need to submit your application in different format, please get in touch to discuss the options.

30 June: All applicants will be contacted to let them know if they’ve been shortlisted

July: Informal interviews

September: Programme begins

Programme fee

Once accepted, there is a fee of £30 to participate in the programme. 

If you’d like to participate but travel costs or other expenses will make it difficult for you to take part, please let us know; we may be able to help. This will be managed on a case-by-case basis by Guild administrative staff and will not have a bearing on the selection process.

Creative Connections is subsidised by the Art Workers’ Guild.

Selection process

Applications will be reviewed by a panel of Guild members – at this stage anonymised, so the panel will not know your name or personal details.

The panel will select a shortlist, and you will be informed by 30 June if you’ve been shortlisted. If you have been, you may be invited to an informal conversation with someone from the panel (either in person or online).
