Bro. Angie Lewin has a solo exhibition at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park showing prints, watercolours and collages.
She is also giving a two–day course starting with a brief presentation on the work of fellow wood engravers showing different examples of style. An Introduction to Wood Engraving is at Yorkshire Sculpture Park on 8-9 February 2014

A day symposium to coincide with the retrospective exhibition at the Soane Museum. Speakers include various Brethren Alan Powers, Peyton Skipwith, Sacha Llewellyn, Pat Hardy, John Goodall, Mike Pitts, Sara Cooper and Richard Sorrell, followed by a private view at the museum.

Bro. Christopher Brown is among other Brethren, past and present, exhibiting in the Gradidge Room at the Guild in the Jennings Fine Art exhibition. ‘Edward at Roche Rock’ is a specially commissioned limited edition linocut, and is printed by Bro. Phil Abel at Hand & Eye Letterpress, London.
Bros. Richard Kindersley, Matthew Lane Sanderson and Ian Rank Broadley join two other artists – the sculptors Katharine Dowson (who has lectured at the Guild) and Edinburgh-based Jill Watson. Bro. David Birch has also given valuable technical advice. The private exhibition is at the Worshipful Company of Mercers and is curated by Bro. Luke Hughes. It is intended to provoke discussion on contemporary ideas about how to represent traditional property marks (all representing the ‘Mercer Maiden’) which have adorned their freehold buildings at least since the 17th century

Bro. Rebecca Jewell has two pieces have been selected for the National Open Art Competition (‘Cape of Pacific Voyages’ and ‘A Looming of Owls’) on 25 October – 7 November at The Royal College of Art. There is also a display of her work at the British Museum Clore Education Centre until 24 October in the Melanesia Art and Encounter exhibition.
