Introduction
I am concerned with buildings as works of art rather than something to which art is added. The structure is the decoration and the decoration is the structure.
My works have appeared in HRH Prince Charles’ Book, Vision of Britain, and in exhibition at the V and A in 1989. My work has been reviewed in Country Life and Perspectives on Architecture and I have appeared on the Lucinda Lambton television programme in 1990 and on Channel 4 ‘Britain’s Best Buildings’ in 2000.
I have exhibited at the Royal Academy, the Festival of the British Architectural Drawings, the Polish Architect’s Exhibition at Wroclaw and lately at the 20th Century Church Exhibition at the Heinz Gallery, London.
I am English Heritage Nominee on the Blackburn Diocesan Advisory Committee and the Carlisle Fabric Committee, and am a consulting member of the Northern Buildings Sub-Committee of the Victorian Society.
