Introduction
Brian Webb is a designer at Webb & Webb Design Limited, and was previously a designer and director at Trickett &Webb.
Founded in 1971 Trickett & Webb received countless international design awards and has work in many permanent museum collections including the V&A London and Museum of Modern Art, New York.
Biography
Brian Webb trained as a graphic designer at Liverpool and Canterbury Colleges of Art. From 1971 - 2003 he was a designer and director at Trickett & Webb Limited and since 2003 designer and director at Webb & Webb Design Limited.
He has lectured and assessed design courses at many UK universities and lectured in the USA, Australia, Asia, Europe and Scandinavia. Brian Webb was Master of the Art Workers Guild in 2008, Past President and Fellow of the Chartered Society of Designers, and is a visiting professor at the University of the Arts London and Fellow of the University for the Creative Arts.
Clients include international organisations, and local companies, arts organisations and publishers. Brian Webb and Past Master Peyton Skipwith are co-authors of the Design series of books: Edward Bawden and Eric Ravilious, Paul and John Nash, E.McKnight Kauffer, Curwen Press, published by the Antique Collectors’ Club. Webb & Webb also design and art direct the series, which won the British Book Design and Production Awards 2009 for Brand and Series Identity. Brian Webb has also written and contributed to many books, including London Transport Posters: A Century of Art and Design, published 2008, by Lund Humphries.
