Cast off your own austerity blues and spend a day discussing post-war literature with writer and lecturer Lynn Knight.
Mollie Panter-Downes’ novel, ‘One Fine Day’, and Muriel Spark’s ‘The Girls of Slender Means’ will form the basis for a one-day course exploring how women lived through and wrote about these years.
Lynn Knight teaches literature at London’s City Lit and has also taught at the Women’s Library, the Charleston Festival and other venues.  Her latest book, ‘Lemon Sherbet and Dolly Blue: The Story of an Accidental Family’, was a Radio 4 “Book of the Week”.  For further details of her work see http://www.lynnknight.co.uk
